Who Can Use BEM’s Services?
Air Force/DoD Installations Worldwide

Overview
Since its founding in 1990, BEM Systems, Inc. (BEM) has grown to be a nationwide leader in delivering a broad range of professional environmental consulting services to the federal government. Whether for the natural or the built environment, BEM’s engineers, scientists, planners, and IT specialists have delivered solutions and executed projects that have enabled federal agencies to more efficiently and effectively execute their core mission.

As a 100% employee-owned company, BEM is proud to serve all branches of the DoD, NASA, USACE, and other federal agencies. Over the past 20 years, BEM has served as a prime contractor for these and other federal agencies, providing services related to planning, compliance, remediation, natural and water resources, and information management.

In April of 2016, BEM was awarded this A-E13ES contract by the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) to provide Title I, Title II, and other A-E Services at Air Force and Federal installations worldwide. This five year contract has a base period of performance to May 2021, with an additional two year option period and an initial ceiling of $500 million.

This A-E13ES represents BEM’s twelfth contract with AFCEC covering 24 years of uninterrupted service. In that time BEM and its team members have worked at over 200 installations worldwide from Alaska radar installations above the Arctic circle to Homestead AFB in southern Florida and Lajes Field in the Azores. In that time BEM has consistently demonstrated the ability to execute complex projects reliably and to the highest professional standards.

Specialized Capabilities
BEM has a depth of experience in providing environmental A-E Services to AFCEC customers for over 20 years. Specifically, our proven experience as a prime contractor with AFCEC and the Department of Defense includes:
