Today, as members of our various communities, we enjoy the countless benefits of living in a modern and developed land. Convenient access to clean drinking water and sanitary wastewater systems, paved roadways and other transit infrastructure, reliable protection against natural disasters, and the list goes on, are things that we typically take for granted. Now and again, it is beneficial, albeit mind-boggling, to pause and consider all that goes into the planning, building, and maintaining of our constructed society—and also the protection of the natural world around us. BEM has always been passionate about supporting human progress in balance with our natural environment.

Since our formation in 1990, we have grown to become a nationwide leader in environmental services, performing complex assignments that stretch from the remote north slope of Alaska to the densely populated New York/New Jersey Metropolitan Area. The projects we work on address both the built environment, such as mass transit systems and military installations, as well as the natural landscape, including the restoration of the Florida Everglades and Coastal Louisiana.
