BEM has created Project Management Dashboard® (PMDB®), a web-enabled project management dashboard that serves as a central repository for project data. It enhances communication and decision-making for the project team, field team, clients, and regulatory stakeholders by providing real-time data for monitoring progress and schedules. Laboratory results are automatically synced when electronic data deliverables (EDDs) are received from the analytical laboratory, allowing users to query data with regulatory or client-specific criteria. The PMDB is adaptable to new compounds and complies with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), ensuring the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Additionally, the PMDB facilitates the creation of conceptual site model deliverables, like cross-sections and maps, to visualize and quantify PFAS impacts, helping prioritize sites for action or further assessment.

  • Increase data transparency with public and regulatory stakeholders.

  • Multiple AFFF source-strength leaching evaluations.
  • Downgradient groundwater vertical aquifer profiling (VAP) transects to develop 3D map of PFAS mass flux.
  • Groundwater-surface water interaction assessments.

    • Phase I Human Health & Ecological Risk Assessments.
    • Bench- and field-scale in-situ stabilization (ISS) treatability studies.
    • The client requesting funding for removal action or response action.

Site Investigation Case Studies

  • BEM has successfully demonstrated high-resolution characterization using Triad and PMDB at 10 project sites (both urban and remote) in 4 states, including involvement from multiple State and Federal (EPA) agencies.
  • The approach improved interim decision making and eliminated extraneous mobilizations and interim reporting, thus reducing cost and accelerating the schedule of an otherwise traditionally slow and rigid investigation approach.
