Our Story

 

Founded in 1990, BEM Systems, Inc. (BEM) is an environmental, engineering, and information management firm providing comprehensive environmental services to federal, state and local government agencies. Specializing in environmental planning and compliance; remediation; and natural and water resources.  Our offices are in New Jersey, Colorado, and Alaska, serving the United States of America.

With an emphasis on innovative data management solutions, BEM delivers comprehensive environmental planning, compliance, permitting, and remediation services. We have an established reputation for consistent performance and a distinct niche in relational database property management systems.

BEM works with a wide variety of entities across several sectors. This includes federal and state agencies (e.g., NASA), large infrastructure organizations (e.g., NJ TRANSIT), and various branches of the Department of Defense. We also offer our services to select private-sector organizations. 

Our expansion into scientific and engineering studies supporting large ecosystem restoration programs has led to significant contributions to environmental restoration, and our expertise extends to relational database application development and GIS. 

BEM’s Innovation Technology & Solutions (ITS) group develops web-based applications to manage and integrate functions associated with cleanup, restoration, and infrastructure projects.
