BEM was contracted by the ITD to provide a web-based solution for a staff portal to effectively administer the department’s policies and procedures, provide time and cost-saving efficiencies to staff (including through shared data across multiple ITD departments), and provide faster turnaround for inquiries and requested services with the ability to create ad-hoc reports. The major reasons for upgrading the system were to have a standard, state-wide land acquisition system across all districts within the state and to provide enhanced reporting capabilities for internal and external business partners regarding land acquisition information and status (including automated reporting).
ITD has implemented the V2 version of the PAECETrak™ solution, as well as AdTrak™ built on the same underlying Web UI framework and architecture; all of the UI controls are similar in both systems, and data between the systems can be easily shared.
As part of the ITD PAECETrak™ implementation, there were multiple third-party integrations that were implemented as part of the project including: Integration with ITD’s Project Management System using a webservice API; Integration with ITD’s Payment System; GIS Integration; and Title Commitments, Title Documents, Plats and Legal Descriptions, which allows users to open the documents uploaded using ITD’s MS Azure file management system by the design consultant.
